Staff was friendly. I loved the ready to cook salmon and veggies from the seafood dept for only 6 dollars it was so yummy!

I really hate places that require you to use a card to get the sale prices. I use somebody else's card. But mostly, I don't shop here anymore. A pity, they're right around the corner and I shopped there for maybe 20 years.
Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, I guess I quit shopping there regularly a few years ago . . . when I witnessed a new store manager yelling at the deli guy who was helping me . . . because he wasn't helping me fast enough (except he was). I wrote corporate, who bounced it back to local, who was supposed to call me, but didn't, presumably because he knew exactly what incident I was talking about.
Supposedly they updated this store, but it feels like 2000 in there, I dunno. Sad produce, weird brands.
And when I was in there a month or so ago for just a handful of things, it just felt empty inside, just like that manager. ;)
I love my local Winn Dixie. I've been taking my little girl here since she was born every Sunday morning for donut day.
I think some reviewers are just plain ignorant and don't know the ins and outs of how retail stores actually are managed and maintained. I definitely would disregard the reviewer Picky Eater because that's just what they are picky and ignorant of the facts. Most people that live down here are retired rich old scumbags who like nothing more than to gripe about life and other people. Most of them have no concept of or have even worked in retail but yet they like to tell you how you're supposed to run things. Winn-Dixie is a grocery store nothing more nothing less. I love this place. I rather shop here than some place like Walmart.
