What a fun place to eat at the beach! We wanted seafood, and we got it. We had one individual in our party with gluten and dairy allergies. The staff was very accommodating. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. In fact, we want to return. Yes, the prices are moderate, but when I go to the beach, it is special--I don't mind spending money for great food and service. By the way, the portions are very generous. We were very happy, not crabby. :-)
Crabs is by far one of the best places we have ever eaten. The food was excellent. I had shrimp and Grits. Husband had seafood platter. Both were excellent. It’s not often I go to a restaurant and can say that. Prices were fair. Staff was courteous , and so friendly. Hannah was our server, and she was the best. We will be back and we will definitely let people know how great this place is
A big salt water fish tank sits at the front of the restaurant to let you know that they serve seafood, and that it wants to remind you of the ocean, even though half of the restaurant is outside and faces the ocean. People say that the closer you are to the ocean the fresher and cheaper the seafood is, and in this case, it definitely is not. Break the bank and come enjoy the seafood with us, we have overpriced crabs! The fact that you have to fly a plane over the beach to advertise your restaurant even though you are one of the first places that you pass getting onto the beach just screams, we need help! give us your money!
Why wouldn’t you give this place a 5/5. Food is great. Right on the beach literally. Great brunch options. Go for brunch it’s great. Blaine was fantastic. Always checked up on us and made sure we were satisfied. Would recommend without any reservations. Bananas fosters was amazing.
Crabs is really cool. It's directly on the beach, has an inside and outside portion, and has live music. They have massive portions for great prices, and the food is awesome. I shared the seafood nachos with a group of my friends because it is HUGE. It can feed four people easy! The staff was pretty friendly as well. If you're down in Pensacola Beach this is definitely a place to try!
