Horrible experience today. I have been having many upper body pains and a lump appeared in the last 9 days. I was in so much pain today that I decided to go to the ER instead of urgent care. The staff, as in the nurses and Nurse practitioner, were incredibly passive aggressive with comments such as "this is a place for surgeries and emergencies". Hello! I have a higher degree then the Nurse Practitioner and did not appreciate her egotistical unsympathetic response. If I thought what I was going through was not an emergency I would not of been there. The NP also began to give me the "vaccine talk " which I found highly inappropriate. She sat and looked at me with a smug look and asked me very insulting questions about my profession and what the rest of my day looked like. I left feeling like I did something wrong and I am still sick with no help or direction.

My 2 year old daughter got seen at this hospital because she was sick and no one else could figure out why. They did an exam and came to the conclusion she has an ear infection. 2 days after she had been seen they called me to check on her. The staff are very friendly and I will always bring my child here.
Took my wife here for intense abdominal pain. ER staff was nice, comforting, and very helpful. She was seen by a physician in less than an hour. Got her pain managed and found the cause of the issue. Got her set up with an ob/gyn for follow up treatment. If you have a choice between the ER at this hospital and FWBMC go here. The difference is night and day. Gulf Breeze is great! FWBMC is hell in comparison.
Excellent local hospital. My review is from the perspective of an inpatient. I can't say enough about the staff, from the admissions to the nurses and in between. All very friendly and caring. Food was quite good as well..especially the Valentine's day meal. Kitchen went above and beyond. We're lucky to have a hospital such as this in our community
