Last August (2009), my wife and I lost our baby at 13wks. We had a family plot at Rose Lawn which contained my great great grandmother. The folks at Rose Lawn allowed us to have the graveside service for our baby for free. They had a very tasteful and respectful demeanor. I saw another review (from 2008) about Rose Lawn, speaking of high prices. Funeral costs, in general, are large and obnoxious. That won't change much from one funeral home to another. Our tiny little 10x10 gravestone set us back almost $700. However, based on how they treated us gives me an insight on how they run their business...and I would say that they run their business with care and with the mindset of keeping their clients first. Their greens and their facility isn't the largest, most grandiose in the area, but it offers an quiet, intimate setting, which we found appealing.
