This is a beautiful stretch of sandy seashores leading into Fort Pickens and a great campground. Picturesque and quiet.

Would have loved to see fort pickens but the road was completely flooded! Keep an eye out, missed the sign at the entrance that said the road was flooded. Beautiful area and well preserved!

Amazing National Seashore. Pensacola Beach is already known for its' bright white, fine sands. It's easy to say that this long strip of beach is way nicer.

Beautiful sandy beach with gorgeous clear waters; perfect for the whole family or a private getaway for just you and that special someone! My family and I love it!

For a small fee you can enter the National Seashore at Fort Pickens for a week. The beaches are not as crowded and some spots have lifeguards. The area typically protects wildlife such as native birds and sea turtles, so they ask that you respect speed limits and roped off nests. Fort Pickens is a great attraction, with lots of areas to explore and excellent views, especially around sunset. Limited camping is available.
